When the kiosk EFTPOS terminal freezes on level one, please follow the below procedures:
• Press Function on the keypad
• Choose option #4
• Enter the code 4648
The EFTPOS terminal will then reboot.
If this still hasn’t worked (give it a few minutes – it should say that it’s downloading parameters etc until it goes back to the usual screen)
Then try calling Commonwealth Bank merchant services unit on 1800 020 306
You will be asked for the Merchant ID which is 5353109299091841
and the Terminal ID: 82853101 – 02
Please email Theo when the EFTPOS freezes so he can keep track of this issue.
